A PlayStation is a gaming console but what if it is much more than that? What if PlayStations were a way that people can play out their fantasies? Some games appeal to this "fantasy" idea. For example The Sims; the game is very simple yet what is the appeal? Easy; the player can act out their life the way they want it to be.

They can create huge mansions, put together their perfect wife or husband, and even have their dream careers. This may sound great and a lot of fun but what if this is harmful for kids to do. They could very easily rather accept this game "reality" rather than the one they actually live in. Scary concept, right? While games are entertaining and fun to play; the players should be made well aware of where the game stops and real life begins.

Analysts are saying that the Next Generation Portable–that's the "new PlayStation Portable" to those who haven't been tuning in to gaming industry news–will easily surpass PSP sales in North America and maybe even in Europe. Maybe it will, maybe not. One thing's for certain, though: until that happens, until you get that shiny new portable gaming masterpiece in your hands, you need to take care of that PSP you own for a bit longer.

Here are a few PSP care tips that you may want to turn into habits: First, never ever use the PSP, not even touch the it, especially the controls, with dirty hands. Getting oil, dirt of any other slick, slimy or sticky stuff in the controls, between the contact points of the buttons, will seriously ruin your fun. Once a control, particularly the analog stick, fails to function, it's the end of the road for your gaming run–at least until you get it repaired, which will set you back a lot of dough.

Second, it's always a good idea to keep the strap that came with your PlayStation Portable looped around your wrist or neck. This will prevent you from accidentally dropping it. Just make sure you don't flail your arms and accidentally smash the PSP into a hard object. This brings us to the third tip: keep your PSP in its case when you're not using it. Doing this will ensure your PSP won't shatter into a million pieces when you drop it (okay, that's an exaggeration).

An extremely worried start of the year for Sony as the shipment of Playstation 3 Game consoles has been captured under the Dutch customs. First, the Playstation 3 Game firmware got destroyed by GeoHot and now Sony's facing another terrible turn of events. The rule of abolishing the PlayStation 3 games sales is active from February 28 of this year. Europe is Sony's second largest market for the sales of PlayStation 3 Games and this is surely a big blow to the company. Shiro Mikoshiba, an analyst at Nomura Holdings Inc. says that if this injunction continues for more than month then Sony's earning are surely to get hurt. After Dutch seized thousands of PlayStation 3 Game consoles as LG Electronics won the case against the patent issue, the company seems finding ways to change the shipping points in Europe.
